What to include in a food packaging inquiry
A clear starting point makes it easier to discuss the right equipment and consumables.
1. Describe what you pack
Share the product type, its approximate size or weight, and the packaging material you use. Include photographs where possible.
2. Identify your existing equipment
For replacement clips or accessories, include the machine brand, model and a photograph of the existing part. A model name alone may not establish compatibility.
3. Bring the relevant dimensions
For clips, send a dimensioned drawing or sample reference. For wire, include diameter, alloy, temper and spool requirements. For machines, state the portion or pack size and desired production output.
4. Include commercial requirements
Specify your expected quantity, delivery country and preferred timing. Mention any documentation or certification requirements for your market so these can be checked for the proposed product.
5. Share what is still uncertain
You do not need to have every detail ready. Explain what you know and what you need help identifying.
